Peppermint Bark

Easy Peppermint Bark made with candy coating, chocolate chips and crushed peppermint sticks.

  • Line 9.5" x 13" cookie sheet with parchment paper.

  • Crush peppermint sticks, not too fine. Place in a zip lock back and crush with a rolling pin or meat tenderizer.

  • Melt 4 blocks of white vanilla candy coating (Almond Bark) in microwave. Take care to only melt, not overcook. Set timer for 15 seconds at a time.
    Spread melted white vanilla candy coating over the parchment paper and spread to edges, covering entire cookie sheet. Let cool and harden.

  • Melt the dark chocolate chips in the microwave. Melt in same manner as above.
    Spread over the white candy coating and smooth to the edges. Let cool and harden.
    Melt 4 block of white vanilla candy coating and spread over the chocolate layer.
  • Quickly sprinkle the crushed peppermint over the white layer before it hardens. Press the crushed peppermint lightly into the white layer. Let cool and harden.

  • Once thorougly cooled and hardened, remove from the parchment paper and break into pieces. Some peppermint will be loose and fall free. Enjoy!
