Customize
This black and gold Christmas wreath tutorial can easily be customized to fit your style. Swap the black mesh for navy or emerald green to change the look. You can also choose from navy and gold or green and gold “Merry Christmas” signs, and mix in contrasting ribbons to make it truly your own. With so many color options, you can create a wreath that perfectly matches your holiday décor.
Wreath Basics
Carrie and Taalor followed a regular pattern they used for making a wreath. The mesh strips were 20″ long and the ribbon strips 12″. Two ruffles or curls to a twist on the wreath form, and a cluster of three ribbons in each twist. Carrie made the bow using Em’s Bowmaker which sells at Trendy Tree.
Here’s a handy guide that summarizes the steps.
