Watch the Tutorial
I originally made this DIY Easter Cross during a YouTube Live, and I have to admit—I was a little nervous! But don’t worry, you can watch the replay and follow along to see just how easy it is to put together. It only takes a few supplies, and the ribbon I used was actually a leftover roll from my stash. Check out the video below to see the full process!
Supplies from Trendy Tree
Trendy Tree has everything you need to create beautiful wreaths and seasonal decorations, including the supplies for this Easter cross. I used a twig cross and a dogwood branch from the warehouse, along with a ribbon from my stash. You can find the exact products I used below!
29280NAT 24″ Twig Cross
29363CM Dogwood Spray
X314840-48 2.5″ Grape Poly Linen Ribbon
There is a Dogwood Garland also in stock and a Moss Cross that would work just as well. The gauze ribbon I used was a leftover from my stash and sold out at Trendy Tree. The ribbon I posted would work just as well.
The Beauty of Dogwood
Dogwood branches are simple and beautiful, whether white or pink. They’re perfect for spring and Easter décor, adding a natural touch to any project. I grew up with the connection of the dogwood tree to the story of the Crucifixion, as its blooms resemble a cross. Whether you use them in a wreath, an arrangement, or this DIY Easter Cross, dogwood is a lovely way to celebrate the season.
