Fruit Roll Up Loaded Tea – Bursting with Summer Flavor

fruit roll up loaded tea, recipe from Silver Lining Lessons, flavored with orange, raspberry, strawberry and watermelon, a loaded tea you can make at home

This weekend, Maggie tried a new Fruit Roll Up loaded tea from Silver Lining Lessons. It was a hit! The bold, fruity flavors—orange, raspberry, strawberry, and watermelon—made it perfect for a hot summer day. It was our first time making this one, and we were both surprised by how much it tasted like the candy. Definitely a fun and flavorful addition to our list of DIY loaded tea favorites!

Matt dropped by too and decided to try one called Area 51. It’s another Silver Lining Lessons recipe with a citrus base, plus raspberry and pineapple flavors—refreshing with just a little tropical twist. The name is so fun and a little spooky, which makes it perfect for Halloween or themed parties. Matt wasn’t really up for a photo that early on a Saturday morning (understandable!), so Maggie happily volunteered to do a taste test for him. Between the flavor and the layered green look, it was a hit all around!

If you haven’t checked out Silver Lining Lessons yet, you definitely should. They have a great collection of loaded tea and energy drink recipes. The instructions are easy to follow, and the drinks taste just like what you’d get at a nutrition shop—without the price tag. Both the Fruit Roll Up and Area 51 teas we tried came from their site. The flavors were spot on and super fun to make. I’ll link both recipes below so you can give them a try too!

No Tea? No Problem – Just Make Flavored Water

One thing I love about loaded tea recipes is how easy they are to turn into flavored waters. Just skip the tea powder, extra guarana, and 4C Energy Rush. Use only the flavor packets and adjust the mix to your taste. I do this a lot with leftover packets from other teas. If I’ve opened one and only used part of it, I fold it over and clip it shut with a small folder clip. One clip can hold several open packets. It keeps everything neat, fresh, and ready to use—no waste!

My Favorite App for Saving Recipes

Wondering how I keep track of all the loaded tea recipes like Fruit Roll Up? I use an app called Recipe Keeper, and I absolutely love it. It’s on my phone, laptop, and iPad, and it makes saving recipes so easy.

You can download a recipe straight from a website just by entering the URL—it pulls in the ingredients, instructions, and even the image. Of course, you can also add your own by typing them in manually. I’ve sorted my collection into categories like “My Mother’s Recipes” and “Carrie & David’s Recipes,” so everything stays organized. You can even group recipes into a custom cookbook and print it out! It’s inexpensive, syncs across all your devices, and since Carrie uses it too, any recipe I add shows up in her app as well. Highly recommend!

Summer Teas and Go-To Supplies

Stay tuned for more loaded teas and flavored waters like Fruit Roll Up as summer heats up. I’ve been having so much fun trying new flavors and coming up with easy drinks to share. If you’re running your own little “tea service” at home like I am, you’ll want a few go-to supplies on hand. Below are some of my Amazon favorites—sturdy plastic cups with lids and straws, and even a drink carrier to make serving (or delivering!) teas super simple.

Here are some of my favorite Amazon finds that make running my little “tea service” a breeze. I love using sturdy plastic cups with lids and straws, and the drink carrier that holds six 32 oz cups is perfect for serving or delivering teas with ease. The magnetic measuring spoons are another must-have—they include a handy 1/8 teaspoon (which most sets skip), plus they’re color-coded and stick together magnetically so you never lose one. You can also grab Waka teas in small sample sizes, which is perfect if you want a variety of flavors without having to commit to big containers. The reusable tumblers are great for any cold drink, and the mini whisks are perfect for mixing up flavors in a small amount of water.

Everything I’ve linked above is from Amazon, and these are affiliate links—so if you click and make a purchase, I may earn a tiny commission at no extra cost to you. Thanks for supporting my blog!
