Easy Peanut Butter Balls with Just Two Ingredients

peanut butter balls with two ingredients

I recently came across a short video showing peanut butter balls made with just two ingredients, and it honestly looked too simple not to try. Spoiler alert: it really was that easy—and surprisingly good.

What I Used

The base recipe couldn’t be simpler:

  • 1 cup peanut butter powder
  • 4 oz no sugar added applesauce (one of those little snack pack cups)

I mixed the two together, but when I started forming the balls, the mixture felt a little too wet. I added about ¼ cup more peanut butter powder and popped the mixture into the fridge for a few minutes. After that, it was much easier to roll into balls.

Chocolate Coating Step

For the chocolate coating, I melted about 1 cup of chocolate chips with a little solid coconut oil to thin it out. Once the peanut butter balls were formed, I chilled them again for about 30 minutes, then dipped them into the melted chocolate.

After dipping, they went right back into the fridge so the chocolate could set.

Final Thoughts

These little peanut butter balls make a great snack and definitely help take care of a sweet craving. They’re simple, quick, and easy enough to throw together without much planning—which makes them even better.

Sometimes the easiest recipes really are worth trying!

    1. Thanks for following)) I didn’t go thru the process for calculating the nutritional facts on this one. Next time I make them, I’ll pay more attention to the number that it makes so I can calculate. Sorry.
