Banana Cabana Flavored Water: A Caffeine-Free Summer Treat

If you’ve been following along, you know I’ve been making a lot of loaded teas lately—but sometimes, you just need something a little lighter. That’s where this fun recipe comes in! The Banana Cabana flavored water is a fruity, caffeine-free treat made with banana, peach, and strawberry flavors. I mixed it up for Taalor while she was working hard in the Trendy Tree warehouse on a hot day—she’s not a fan of caffeine in the afternoon, so this was the perfect pick-me-up. And of course, I had to add a little whipped cream on top for a fun, summery twist. She loved it!
One of the things I love most about these flavored waters is how quick and easy they are to make—there’s hardly any measuring involved! Most recipes just call for a full or half packet of drink mix, and from there, you can adjust to your own taste. I usually dissolve the mixes in a little warm water first, then add ice and fill up a 32 oz cup with cold water (I always keep a pitcher in the fridge just for this). If the flavor’s too light, I’ll add more mix—too strong, just top it off with extra water. I didn’t do it for this Banana Cabana, but sometimes I like to add a can of coconut Bubbly to give my flavored waters a little carbonation kick. Super simple and so refreshing!
🛒 Finding the Flavors
The peach and strawberry drink mix packets are usually easy to find at most grocery stores. dollar stores, and Walmart, but the banana flavor can be a little trickier. For this Banana Cabana, I used a Wyler’s Banana packet that came in an assorted box with lime, banana, coconut, and mango—perfect for summer drinks.
In my area, the Wyler’s flavors aren’t available year-round. I mostly find them in stores during the summertime, so I try to stock up when I see them. You can usually order them online too, but be aware—they tend to cost twice as much as they do in-store!
