Pineapple Coconut Hydration Drink: Tropical Flavor – No Caffeine
Summer is almost here, but in Mississippi, the heat index is already climbing! That means it’s time for refreshing summer drinks. This Coconut Pineapple Hydration Drink is a new combination I tried this week, and it’s definitely going to be added to my list of favorites.
The star of this drink is a packet of Pure Kick Pro Pineapple Coconut Hydration Mix. It contains electrolytes, which can be especially helpful if you’re spending time outdoors working in the yard, gardening, walking, or just trying to stay hydrated during our hot Mississippi summers. The hydration mix can be added to plain water, but I decided to experiment a little. I mixed it with Coconut Pineapple Bubly sparkling water for a bit of carbonation and added a Sunkist Pineapple Singles To Go packet for an extra burst of pineapple flavor. The result was a refreshing tropical drink that tastes like summer in a cup.
Now, I’ll admit that I’m not a fan of plain sparkling water. To me, it tastes a little like Alka-Seltzer! But add some flavor, and it’s a whole different story. The carbonation gives this drink a little fizz while the pineapple and coconut flavors make it taste like a tropical getaway—without the caffeine. 🍍🥥🥤
Why I Added Pure Kick Pro
One reason I chose the Pure Kick Pro Pineapple Coconut Hydration Mix instead of the regular Pure Kick packets is that the Pro version is designed for hydration and contains electrolytes without caffeine. Many of the regular Pure Kick flavors include caffeine, which is great if you’re looking for an energy boost. For this drink, though, I was more interested in creating a refreshing hydration drink that I could enjoy anytime. The electrolytes were an added bonus, especially during our hot Mississippi summers.
Ingredients for This Caffeine-Free Pineapple Coconut Hydration Drink
Add ½ cup water to a 32-ounce cup. Stir in the Pure Kick Pro Pineapple Coconut Hydration Mix and the Sunkist Pineapple drink packet until dissolved. (The packets dissolve especially quickly in warm water.)
Pour in the 12-ounce can of Coconut Pineapple Bubly sparkling water. Fill the cup with ice, stir gently, and enjoy!
This sparkling hydration drink is easy to customize by adjusting the amount of pineapple flavoring or sparkling water.
🍍 Tip: If you prefer a lighter flavor, use only half of the Sunkist Pineapple packet. If you’re like me and love pineapple, use the whole thing! 😄🥥🍍🥤

What’s Next on My Drink Experiment List?
I’ve already got my eye on the next flavor to try. Wyler’s recently came out with a new Rainbow Sherbet drink mix, and I can’t wait to see how it tastes! Rainbow Sherbet ice cream has always been one of Matt’s favorites, so naturally, he’ll be my official taste tester for this one. 😄 If it turns out half as good as it sounds, it may just become another addition to my growing collection of flavored water and hydration drink experiments. Stay tuned! 🍧🥤🌈
