I recently spotted a cute lavender arrangement in a white pot and almost bought it, but decided to make my own instead. With two coffee mugs from Dollar Tree and a purple foxtail bush from Trendy Tree, I put together two mini florals that turned out just right. It wasn’t just about saving a few dollars—it was the simple satisfaction of creating something myself.

I also used a few leftover pieces from a green floral, hot glue gun, and wire cutter. If you need a little extra filler here’s another inexpensive bush from Trendy Tree, with lots of texture.

I couldn’t find any small ceramic vases that I really liked, so I decided to get creative with coffee mugs instead. They were the perfect size and super affordable. I just positioned the florals so the handles don’t show—unless one happens to be facing forward on my desk, and honestly, I’m okay with that. It’s a simple workaround that still looks polished and pretty!
