Apple Jack Loaded Tea: A Cool Pick-Me-Up for Hot Days

The other day, I made this Apple Jack Loaded Tea for Taalor while she was working hard out in the hot Trendy Tree warehouse. It turned out to be the perfect refreshing pick-me-up — a delicious blend of tart green apple and a hint of peach flavors, chilled to perfection with crushed ice. 🍏🍑✨

The recipe comes from Silver Lining Lessons, my go-to source for simple, affordable homemade loaded teas. It’s an easy way to skip the pricey Herbalife versions and make your own tasty drinks with ingredients you can find locally or on Amazon. If you haven’t tried loaded teas yet, this is a great one to start with!

Fix It How You Like It — That’s the Best Part!

One of the things I love about making loaded teas at home is how easy it is to adjust them to your taste — especially when it comes to caffeine. Taalor, for example, prefers less caffeine in her afternoon teas since she’s often using them as a refreshing cooler, not a full energy boost. The caffeine in these drinks comes mainly from the base, which in this recipe is a 4C flavored drink mix with a little carbonation. You can add extra caffeine by including Waka teas or guarana powder — or simply leave them out altogether if you want a lighter drink.

And if you skip the caffeine entirely and just use the flavored drink mixes, you’ve got a great-tasting flavored water. Flavored water is actually my everyday go-to — it’s quick and easy to prepare, and the flavor combinations are endless. Silver Lining Lessons also has tons of flavored water recipes featuring their tried-and-true combinations, so there’s no guesswork involved!

Until Next Sip…

That Apple Jack Loaded Tea sure hit the spot on a hot warehouse day! I love having easy, affordable ways to mix up fun drinks at home — whether it’s a loaded tea or just a simple flavored water. If you haven’t tried making your own yet, give it a go — it’s fun to experiment with different flavors and find your favorites.

I’ll be sharing more of my favorite combinations soon, so stay tuned! And if you’ve got a favorite loaded tea or flavored water recipe, I’d love to hear about it.
