Dollar Store Halloween Haul
Halloween Haul
Don’t you just love a dollar store Halloween haul! I don’t know about you, but when I go to a store like Dollar General or Dollar Tree, I can’t help but walk down the seasonal isles. Right now it’s Halloween! So even though I wasn’t looking for Halloween decor, I made a bit of a Halloween Haul.))
Word Signs
I found these great Halloween word signs at Dollar General for only $10 each! They are about 24″ in width, 1″ thick, and will stand alone. I’m not sure if they are made of wood or resin, but they are pretty heavy.
My house isn’t decorated for Halloween yet, and I no longer go all out like I used to. But I still like to put out a few things here and there. It was a lot more fun when the grandchildren were small)))
I love the Halloween word sign and it will look good on the bookcase, mantel, or kitchen shelf. Most anywhere actually. My Halloween haul also included a spooky sign of the same size and price.
Dollar Tree
A Halloween haul wouldn’t be complete without browsing through Dollar Tree. They have really elevated their game when it comes to crafts and seasonal decorations. You never know what you’re going to find!
These Halloween book boxes are just adorable and would make really nice treat holders for those special little ghosts and goblins. I thought I would just make a stack of books out of mine and tie with with ribbon.
Dollar Tree had tons of these cute book-boxes the other day. But you better grab them quick!
The Trick or Treat ribbon came from Trendy Tree.
Halloween Decor
Do you need a wreath for Halloween too? Here’s a tutorial I did a while back for a fairly simple one using the ruffle technique. It’s probably the easiest way to make a wreath for beginners.
you can make it!
How to Make a Deco Mesh Halloween Wreath
Here’s an easy Halloween wreath tutorial for you. Carrie needed a new Halloween wreath so she picked out some ribbon and I put it together for her ….
Most of the ribbons that I used on the Halloween wreath are sold out, but you can follow the basic instructions and just choose substitutes. I like to start with a sign, then pick out a mesh (one or two styles of 10″ deco mesh) that coordinates. Lastly, I choose ribbons in 2.5″ and 1.5″ widths. Choose some that blend and some that coordinate. Don’t be afraid to mix patterns at all.

The Pence and Martin clan just love Halloween! I’m looking forward to seeing what else Carrie has in store for their house this year. I bumped into this gentleman the other day!
