EZ Bowmaker: Carrie’s Bow-Making Marathon
EZ Bowmaker
Carrie went on a bow-making spree using the EZ Bowmaker a few days ago!
Do you recall those moments when your children or grandchildren were playing quietly in their room, and you started to get that nagging feeling of wondering what they might be up to? Well, one day, Carrie and the Trendy Tree girls visited my craft room to make a wreath for a Facebook Live event.
They made the wreath but lingered in the room for a while, so I decided to check on them. Carrie mentioned she was making a bow with the EZ bowmaker for a reel, which was fine, so I left them alone and didn’t think much of it. A while later, they left, and that was that. Carrie did mention she used “some” of my ribbon, but it was no issue since the ribbon was technically hers anyway, as it all came from Trendy Tree.
Some Time Later….
I went into the craft room for something, and to my surprise, Carrie had made a bunch of bows! She had crafted fall bows, Christmas bows, Halloween bows, and more. I pulled them out of the box and took some pictures. I even found a couple of videos she made while creating some of the bows, so I thought I’d share them here.
She used the EZ Bowmaker, which has become her go-to tool for bow-making. It’s incredibly handy, and although it simply holds your ribbon, it makes bow-making much easier, especially for beginners.
Carrie’s creations will give you plenty of ideas if you’re unsure about what kinds of ribbon to combine for a bow. She used ribbons from my stash that had been there for a while, and some of her combinations were ones I never would have thought of!
It just goes to show—save your ribbon, no matter how short the piece. One day you’ll find a use for it—or let Carrie visit, and she certainly will!
