If you’ve ever tried adding a touch of greenery to a bow—like on my boxwood wreaths—you’ve probably run into the same problem I did. This greenery stem hack saved me when working with a realistic Norfolk Pine spray where all the stems sat tight against the main branch, leaving almost no length to work with.

Since I needed individual pieces with a bit of wire for attaching, I started unwrapping the paper around the branch to get down to the separate stems. It took a little patience, but it worked! I ended up with long, flexible pine sprigs that were perfect for tucking into my bow.
