It’s Trivia Day!
It’s Trivia Day! Yay! I love board games. This game in the image is my original Trivial Pursuit game purchased back in 1981. Can you believe that Trivial Pursuit is 41 years old? Me either. And the Mastergame is just one version, we have the Junior Version too.

Here’s a little video, it was actually a string of Facebook reels, so it’s kind of repetitive)))
Family Game Night
I have always wanted to have a family game night, but it just never worked out. When the grandchildren were younger, we did play a lot of board games. But Trivial Pursuit was not their favorite, even after I purchased the Junior Edition. It was always my favorite though)))
They loved to play Gesstures, Aggravation, and Monopoly just to name a few. Trivia Day brings back all these memories.
If you have a family game night tradition, I would love to hear about it! I think it’s a great tradition to start. You could have a meal or have it after dinner with a few snacks and engage just about all ages.
Aggravation is one of those games that kids can play…..if they can count they can play))) Aggravation becomes very competitive in our bunch….but that’s a story for another day.
Trivia Day….not quite sure who started it, but while reviewing the history of Trivial Pursuit I learned that it was created in Canada, and released in 1981. There have been many different versions such as Star Wars, Saturday Night Live, and Lord of the Rings.
I even found a brand new, never played (so the description said) on Etsy! So, if you want to start your own family game night….here’s a new board game of an old classic. Trivial Pursuit Mastergame Genus Edition.
Tell us about your favorite family games)))
