🎀 Wait… What Kind of Bid?
I told Maggie I wasn’t sure where the name “Bid Day” for the tea came from. Being the old soul that I am, my mind went straight to auctions, sale barns, or estate bids—you know, the usual kind of “bid.” 😂 She laughed and explained it’s actually named after Bid Day in the sorority world—a big celebration at the end of recruitment when new members find out which sorority they’ve been invited to join. Think balloons, matching shirts, and lots of excited hugs. The name suddenly made a whole lot more sense—and so did the bright, bubbly personality of this tea!
Maggie just graduated from Ole Miss last month, but I still remember her early rush days like they were yesterday—special outfits, themed activities, and more planning than some weddings. 😄
