Carrie and Taalor Made This Wreath… and I Got to Keep It!

Sometimes there are perks to having a daughter—and now a granddaughter-in-law—working in a business like Trendy Tree. Carrie and Taalor recently put together a beautiful project featuring fall florals on a grapevine wreath—and lucky me, I got to keep it! I just had to share a few photos of how it turned out. The mix of textures, the warm autumn tones, and that no-glue trick they used make this one of my favorite seasonal pieces so far.

🌼 A Clever No-Glue Trick from On a Whimm Wreaths

One thing I loved about this wreath is the technique Carrie and Taalor used—something they picked up from Dona at On a Whimm Wreaths. Instead of attaching each stem individually, they built the entire floral grouping first, then secured it to the grapevine wreath with no hot glue at all. It’s a great idea if you like to switch things out seasonally. The florals can be removed easily, and you’re left with a blank slate for something new.

I’m already eyeing a couple of pine sprays they showed during a live yesterday—I think they’d be perfect for turning this into a winter wreath! If you’d like to see how the fall version came together, you can catch the Facebook Live replay below.
