Easy Pineapple Piña Colada Sparkling Water

A while back, I started making loaded teas, and I still make them—mainly for the grands. For myself, though, I’ve started keeping my drinks much simpler.
This pineapple piña colada sparkling water has become one of my favorites. It’s light, refreshing, and couldn’t be easier to make. There’s no measuring, no hot water, and no pile of measuring spoons or cups to wash afterward.
What I Use
The drink starts with lime-flavored sparkling water, along with pineapple and piña colada drink packets.
Today, I used Clear American Key Lime Sparkling Water from a quart bottle, but canned sparkling water works just as well. Bubly is another brand I use often.
You’ll need:
- Lime sparkling water
- One pineapple-flavored drink packet
- One piña colada-flavored drink packet
- Water
- Ice
- A splash of aloe vera drink, if desired
No Measuring Required
Add a little plain water to a large cup—mine holds 32 ounces. Pour in the pineapple and piña colada drink packets, then stir until they dissolve.
Next, pour in the sparkling water and fill the cup with ice.
That’s it!
The sparkling water has zero calories and gives the drink a little bite from the carbonation. It tastes much more interesting than plain flavored water, but it is still incredibly simple to make.
A Little Aloe Vera—With a Word of Caution
I also add a splash of aloe vera drink. It helps keep my digestive system running smoothly.
I debated whether to mention that part, but this blog is about real life—and that’s honestly one of the reasons I add it.)))
Just be aware that aloe vera may work a little too well for some people. Start with a small amount and see how your body responds. You know what I mean!
It works well for me, but you can certainly leave it out.
Try Different Flavor Combinations
The possible flavor combinations are almost endless. I also enjoy peach drink packets with sparkling water, and it’s fun to experiment with whatever flavors happen to be in the pantry.
This isn’t a complicated recipe. It’s simply a quick, refreshing drink that tastes good and doesn’t leave me with a kitchen full of things to wash.
Have you tried a sparkling water and drink-packet combination that you love? Let me know—I’m always looking for new ideas.)))
