Peachy Colada Splash | Tropical Flavored Water Energy Drink

flavored water energy drink, tropical Peachy Colada Splash with peach, coconut and pineapple flavors

Sometimes you just want something quick, refreshing, and a little energizing — and that’s where my Peachy Colada Splash flavored water energy drink comes in. 🍑🥥🍍 I’ve been making plenty of loaded teas lately, and while I love them for the endless flavor combinations, they do take longer to prep (and leave behind more cleanup!). With flavored waters, there’s no mess, no fuss, and the preparation is super quick. Best of all, this one has the bonus of an energy boost plus the fizz of sparkling water.

How to Make Peachy Colada Splash

The ingredients for Peachy Colada Splash couldn’t be easier — and there’s no measuring involved. I start with a 32-ounce cup, add just a splash of water, then pour in two drink mixes: Alani Juicy Peach and Margaritaville Piña Colada. Give it a good stir at this point so the powders dissolve completely (they’ll dissolve a little faster in warm water, but most of the time I just use tap).

Next, add one 12-ounce can of Bubly Coconut Pineapple sparkling water and fill the cup with ice. If you don’t have Bubly on hand, no problem — just fill the cup with water until it’s about three-quarters full. I actually keep a container of cold water in the refrigerator just for this, so it’s always ready to go. That’s it! This flavored water energy drink does cost a little more than most of the loaded teas I’ve made, but honestly, the refreshing flavor makes it well worth it.

A Note About Caffeine

The Alani Juicy Peach packet contains about 200 mg of caffeine. To put that into perspective, that’s roughly the same as two regular cups of coffee. So yes, this flavored water energy drink packs a bit of a boost.

Honestly though, I have to admit — I don’t really “feel” it the way some people describe. Folks talk about getting an immediate energy kick, but for me, it’s not very noticeable. Maybe it’s just how my body handles caffeine, but I enjoy these drinks more for the refreshing flavor than for the buzz.

If you’re sensitive to caffeine, you can always swap in a packet of Wyler’s Light Peach drink mix instead. You’ll still get the same fruity flavor, just without the extra kick of caffeine.
