Ingredients You’ll Need
Homemade ice cream sandwiches only call for two ingredients! Graham crackers and ice cream. Use regular grahams, chocolate, or cinnamon.
When my mom made them we only had plain graham crackers. I received an email the other day from the Martha Stewart website for homemade ice cream sandwiches. There was a chocolate cookie-like layer, then ice cream, and another chocolate layer on top. I was out of town at the time but knew I wanted to try that recipe. As luck would have it, I cannot find that recipe!
So I opted to take the easy way out))) Chocolate graham crackers and vanilla ice cream.
Instructions
Not much instruction is needed! Simply break the graham crackers in half and add ice cream. It’s easier if you use ice cream in a square container. This way, you can cut slices about 1/2″ thick to match the size of your cracker. Voilà!
Let the ice cream soften a bit if you are spreading on the crackers. Wrap individually in plastic wrap, foil, or place in baggies. Store the in the freezer.
