Peachy Pina Colada Flavored Water: Tropical Vibes in a Cup
If you’ve been following me for a while, you know I love a good loaded tea. But lately? I’ve been leaning into tropical flavored water—it’s quick, easy, and there’s no measuring or cleanup! I still make teas for myself and the family, but most days, I’m reaching for something simpler. Today’s combo: peach and pina colada drink mixes blended with coconut pineapple sparkling water. The result? A peachy, tropical refreshment that tastes like a vacation in a cup!
Mixing Flavors? Thank Loaded Teas for That!
I’m not sure why it never occurred to me to mix drink flavors for water—at least not until I started making loaded teas. Now that I’ve got a serious stash of flavored drink packets, it’s actually fun to experiment with new combos. And since loaded teas often leave me with partial packets, this is the perfect way to use them up. Matt is usually my taste tester… anytime he stops by, I hand him a mystery mix of flavors—and he never says no! That’s what gave me the idea to start keeping track of my favorites. So here it is—Peachy Pina Colada Flavored Water—my first official original!
How to Make This Peachy Pina Colada Flavored Water
Start by adding a small amount of warm water to a 32 oz cup—just enough to dissolve your drink mixes. I use the Alani Juicy Peach from Walmart and the Margaritaville Pina Colada from our local Piggly Wiggly. But you can find flavor packets just about anywhere—grocery stores, Dollar General, discount stores, and of course, when all else fails…Amazon.

Once the powders are fully dissolved, pour in a can of coconut pineapple sparkling water. It’s lightly carbonated with just a hint of flavor—on its own it’s a little too much like Alka Seltzer for me, but with the added drink mixes, it gives the water a crisp, refreshing bite. Fill the rest of the cup with ice, and top off with a little water if needed. Sometimes I even splash in a bit of aloe vera juice from the fridge for an extra boost!
And here’s a fun bonus: the Alani Juicy Peach mix has 200 mg of caffeine—about the same as a loaded tea! So even though this tropical flavored water is quick and easy to make, you’re still getting that energy boost without all the fuss. Win-win!
Love Loaded Teas Too?
If you’re still a fan of loaded teas like I am, don’t worry—I haven’t given them up! I’ve shared several of my favorite recipes right here on the blog, so if you’re in the mood for something a little more involved (but totally worth it), be sure to check those out too. Whether it’s a full-on loaded tea or a quick tropical flavored water like this one, there’s always something fun to sip on around here!
