Sweet Summer Peach Loaded Tea
Sweet Summer Peach!
Sweet Summer Peach loaded tea by Silver Lining Lessons may be my new fav! Exploring new flavors in loaded teas has become my newest pastime)))
The Sweet Summer Peach loaded tea recipe was created by Silver Lining Lessons. If you’ve been following my blog you’ve heard this before))) Their website has a wealth of information about loaded teas, flavored waters, shakes, and more! It has so many recipes! Granted, it is also loaded with advertising but the information is there you just have to bear with the ads. Aren’t we just bombarded with ads everywhere today anyway!
We’re all under the spyglass….you can just mention something to a person in the living room and the next thing you know, Alexa is asking if you want to order whatever you were talking about! And you start seeing ads for the item on your Facebook page, iPad, etc. They are watching us🙄

My Take on the Recipe
For my Sweet Summer Peach loaded tea, I had to substitute plain Waka Green Tea for the strawberry green tea since it was what I had on hand. Otherwise, I made the recipe just as it called for. It’s a wonderful peach drink! My very first sip made me think of fresh peach juice.
Sitting Under the Peach Tree
I’m afraid I’m getting much like my dad…..he passed away at 98 but up until the time he died he could remember the most minute detail from years past. Now he couldn’t remember whether he had eaten breakfast or not, but he could remember what he wore to school in the 1930s.
We had a chicken coop that sat under a peach tree. It was the white peach type. We would climb up on top of the chicken coop and sit there and eat all the ripe peaches we could reach until someone made us get down. We didn’t peel them, we just bit into them and ate peelings and all. That is the peach taste that the Sweet Summer Peach loaded tea reminds me of))) Peach trees are not that tall so sitting atop the chicken coop was a perfect spot. I can still remember how rough the asbestos shingles were on my hands and knees. But we survived.
Tip: Heat the water in the microwave for the first part. The tea and caffeine powder will dissolve better in hot water. I keep a half gallon of water and the aloe in the frig for the cold part. My husband likes that it has cut down on the bottled water we use.))

32 Ounce Cups
Loaded teas look better in clear cups! The separation of flavors and colors is so appealing. It doesn’t matter to some folks, but I like it. I found a set of 3 clear, insulated, 32 oz tumblers on Amazon that come with lids and straws that are just right. Here’s that link: Maars Insulated Travel Tumblers 3 Pack
It didn’t take long once Carrie and the grandchildren found out I was making loaded teas, that I had to come up with some go cups! Frutal 32 oz Clear Cups with Lids and Straws 50-pack
Equipment for Loaded Teas
Organization
I have one-cup and two-cup glass/plastic measuring cups that are set aside just for making loaded teas. It was taking me time to scout around the kitchen for all the things I needed! Then I added a set of stainless steel measuring spoons that I took off that confounded ring and a small whisk. These all stack neatly together and are very easy to whip out to mix up a tea)))
My mixes are a little different story. Right now they are in two large plastic bins and I’m looking for something better to store them in. Also, I saw Jana, Silver Lining Lessons, do a TikTok the other day and she was using a heat sealer to close the open packets of drink mix. I want one of those! If you have had experience with one, drop me a note.
Flavored Water
Remember that you can make any of these recipes and leave out the extra caffeine that comes from the tea powder and the guarana. I do that for my husband all the time. He has atrial fibrillation and doesn’t need the extra caffeine, but he loves the taste of the loaded teas))
More to Come!
Stay tuned and follow along if you want to see more of my experiments. The ingredients should soon be here so that I can try some of the Silver Lining Lessons protein shakes. I’m looking forward to that)))

Hi Jan))) Thanks for following. I bought some Premier Protein, chocolate, and I’m waiting for my Slimfast Smothie mix in chocolate to come in. The shake I want to try is called Almond Joy. It will have the Premier protein, smoothie mix, sugar-free coconut syrup, and almond flavoring and some vanilla instant pudding mix. It will have 22 g of protein and less than 200 calories. I think its going to be good. I mixed up a shake with the Premier protein powder just by the directions on the container and it was not bad. If the Almond Joy shake turns out good, you’ll have to come by here and let me make you one)))
