Dollar Tree Haul: Adorable Fall & Halloween Signs on a Budget
It’s Monday — the start of a new week, and I’m catching up after a relaxing few days at the beach. Our small-town Dollar Tree had been closed for a few months, and I’ve definitely missed it. But good news — it reopened this weekend! Of course, I had to check it out, and to my surprise, I found some absolutely beautiful fall and Halloween signs. I can’t wait to show you what I picked up!
These Signs Won’t Last Forever — But They’re Only $1.50!
One of my favorite finds in this Dollar Tree haul was a stacked Halloween pumpkin sign — about 24 inches tall and absolutely adorable. It’s made from either thin MDF or thick cardboard, so while it may not last for years like the sturdier fall decor pieces you’d get from places like Trendy Tree, for just $1.50? It’s a steal. Honestly, I’m totally okay with that — I enjoy switching things up each season anyway. I often re-purpose seasonal signs into a new DIY project or give them a fresh look with ribbon and florals. I’m planning to use this one as a door hanger on my side doors and create a small Halloween floral to go with it. I even have my eye on a black and orange floral pick from Trendy Tree, plus some cute Halloween ribbon that’ll pair perfectly. For budget-friendly seasonal decorating.
Fall Signs with a Touch of Sage
I was so happy to spot a couple of beautiful fall signs in this Dollar Tree haul — and the best part? They both feature a gorgeous sage green color that I absolutely love. It’s not your typical fall palette, and I think that’s what makes them so special. These will be perfect as door hangers for my double side door. All they’ll need is a little touch of floral and a pretty bow at the top to pull it all together. Of course, Trendy Tree will come to the rescue again — they’ve got tons of florals and ribbons that would be perfect for this kind of budget-friendly craft. Most of the time, though, I just ramble through Carrie’s leftover ribbon stash (I can do that — she’s my daughter!), and somehow, I always come out with something that works beautifully.
Stay Tuned for the Final Look
I plan to get to work on the fall signs later this week, so be sure to drop back in soon to see how they turn out! Can you believe August is already half over? It’s definitely time to get serious about fall decorating — even if it’s still hot as blue blazes outside. Maybe working on a fall project will at least feel like a cool-down. 😉 Stay tuned!
